Eight Things About Eight

It looks the same upside down and right side up.

On its side, it's the symbol for infinity.

It's a power of 2.

It's a homophone (remember the old joke, Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven ate nine.)

It's a Fibonacci number.

It's the number of notes in an octave.

It's the number of planets in the solar system (sorry, Pluto, we still miss you).

It's the age of my firstborn son. Happy birthday, Ben!

Sorry I'm SO SO late!! Happy Belated Birthday to Ben!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ben's page in your family site! I think we'll borrow some ideas for Kelvin's blog, if you don't mind.

I think Kelvin and Ben would probably get along great!! Down to the wanting to work for Apple or Nasa detail ;-). Ben's artwork is amazing too. I especially liked the second Japanese bridge, as well as the Peep watercolor (we're HUGE fans of Peep in this family). I can't wait to take Kelvin and Linton to Europe and, of course, to Monet's garden (one of my dreams is to go there).
